A great opportunity for students of both primary and secondary schools age to learn about musicals. They willl focus on elements of singing, acting through song and movement, before bringing what they’ve learnt together in a short presentation. Students should wear comfortable clothing and trainers as there will be a bit of dance/movement, but don’t worry if you haven’t danced before – this will be kept simple and accessible for everyone!
The workshops will be led by Georgia Mann. Georgia made her professional stage debut in Snow White at The Roses Theatre. She also appeared in Filament Theatre Company's site specific performance of Ospedale. Her television work includes a featured role in the BBC series Beyond Paradise. Workshop credits include Dear Nobody (Sheffield Theatres) The Pavarotti Project (Scenario Two Ltd) and Scandalgate (New Frame Productions). Notable concert appearances include Stephen Sondheim's Old Friends (Cameron Mackintosh) and Magic At The Musicals. She is currently rehearsing for Alfred Hitchcock Presents, a new musical, making its world premiere at the Theatre Royal Bath in March.
