Who We Are
West of England Music and Arts (WEMA) inspires everyone to thrive and achieve through the power of music, arts and culture, whatever their ability or life circumstances. WEMA delivers over 50,000 hours of arts activities, in and outside school, and in local communities. We generate more than £3m of value to the local creative economy. We enable over 450 schools and 15,000 people of all ages to access and enjoy music, the arts and creative health services.

What we do
Music Hub
We offer a range of services, programmes, events and experiences to bring music alive for children and young people, providing opportunities to enhance their learning and skills.

Creative Health
Our team gives valuable support to those in the most challenging circumstances, using the power of music as a way to communicate and connect, explore and manage emotions.

Cultural Education Hub
We build connections between schools and creative practitioners to offer young people quality cultural education opportunities in the West of England.

Value To You
As a not-for-profit service, we are keen to ensure all children and young people reach their full potential. We strive to support those in financial need, by keeping our charges as low as possible.
We’re committed to giving value for money. To support schools, we pay the full cost of some activities and subsidise others. You can buy individual services or save money by purchasing a package of activities and events for your whole school. We also provide discounts for schools with fewer than 100 pupils. Email us to discuss your needs.
