West of England Music and Arts runs events and concerts for young musicians in North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Bath and North East Somerset, throughout the year. The information below gives a flavour of what we do.

Voices Together (Secondary KS3 and KS4)
An all-day event for secondary school voices to sing together as a large, massed choir. This year the day will be led by Aga Serugo-Lugo, acclaimed vocalist, composer and workshop leader! Aga will work with the young people taking them through a rewarding day of learning, creativity and fun. This event is fully funded by West of England Music and Arts. Assistance with your travel costs may also be available.

Primary Choirs Festival (KS2)
An exciting, large scale singing event showcasing KS2 school choirs. Led by renowned vocalist and composer Aga Serugo-Lugo, this event is an opportunity to come together with schools from across the WEMA region in one large, massed choir. Your students will learn new songs, sing in parts, and maybe even compose their own new song!

Young Musicians’ Showcase Concert
Our annual showcase of some of the best young musical talent WEMA has supported in schools across North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Bath and North East Somerset. Featuring talented instrumentalists and vocalists, there’s a broad mix of genres and styles. The concert, at the iconic St George’s Bristol, is a true celebration of the power of music to create connection, fun and learning.

Christmas Concerts
We give young performers a chance to shine at several Christmas celebration concerts, in North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Bath and North East Somerset, featuring familiar carols. These concerts are always guaranteed to be a cracker!
