NEWS UPDATE: Open Sessions 2024
There are two Open Sessions in September 2024 at this centre, giving young players a chance to join in the fun and get a taster of what our music centre in Little Stoke (South Gloucestershire) offers.

Music Centre – Little Stoke
There are two music centre sessions at our Music Centre in Little Stoke (South Gloucestershire) which take place on Saturday mornings (Development) and Monday evenings (Seniors):
Saturday Development (Up to Grade 5 Standard)
Our Saturday sessions, from 9am-12 noon term-time, is for wind, brass, percussion, strings, ukulele, acoustic and electric guitars, who have recently started learning up to grade 5 standard (also opportunity to learn violin, cello or ukulele from scratch). There are a number of ensembles at this centre including:
- Crossing Strings for beginners
- Bridge String Orchestra (grade 2-5)
- Acoustic and Electric Guitar Groups (for those with 1+ years experience)
- Ukulele Group
- Training Band (beginners to Grade 1)
- Western Breeze for woodwind, brass and percussion (grades 1-3)
- Western Winds for woodwind, brass and percussion (grades 3-5)

Seniors (Grade 5 standard or above)
Runs on Mondays during term time from 6.45-9.15pm. It is open to wind, brass, percussion, and strings players of grade 5 standard and above. Join other young musicians to develop your skills through regular rehearsals and performances under the expert guidance of professional musicians and educators. Senior Centre hosts up to four different ensembles:
- Wind Orchestra
- Senior Strings Ensemble
- Jazz Orchestra
- Orchestra
