WEMA Music Centres

We have a series of Open Sessions at our Music Centres on dates in September and October, giving young musicians at all levels a chance to join in one or more ensembles, from beginner groups to a full symphony orchestra.

Use the links below to explore our music centres – you can choose which centres suits best. It doesn’t have to be the nearest, as they all offer a different mix of ensembles and skill levels.

Each of the pages has Booking Forms for the Open Sessions. You just need to fill in some details and send.

Music Making – for friendship, learning and fun

Our music centres are a fantastic opportunity to bring together young instrumentalists or singers and give them the opportunity to perform in an ensemble. We have a range of music centres providing music-making opportunities in locations across the region.

In addition to seriously improving musical skills, playing in an ensemble is a great way to make new friends, perform in concerts and most importantly, have fun.

Our music centres are available Saturday mornings and weekday evenings during term time and are open to everyone – from those who have recently started learning an instrument through to more advanced players. There are also opportunities to learn from scratch a string instrument, woodwind, brass, or ukulele in a large group.

Musicians are also welcome to come along for a free trial session before signing up. They just need to fill in a drop-in form on arrival.
