WEMA Summer Residential Music Course

WEMA Annual Summer Residential Course 2026

Booking is open for the WEMA Summer Residential Course – a friendly and relaxed way to spend five days making music and having fun. Instrumentalists of Grade 4 standard and above who are in years 7-13 are invited to attend the course, which will take place in the beautiful setting of Haberdashers’ Monmouth School. The school has excellent accommodation, food and facilities, including swimming pool, tennis courts, astro turf pitch and sports hall, plus several large common rooms with sofas, large screen TVs and kitchen facilities.

The course, which will be run by our excellent WEMA tutors and a professional conductor, is a chance to join in and play with other young musicians across a range of groups including orchestra, wind band, jazz ensemble, string orchestra (and more depending on attendance).

• 12  July 2026 – One day pre-course session at Little Stoke Primary School, Little Stoke.
• 24-28th July 2026 – Five full days Monmouthshire, including an evening concert on the final night for family and friends.
